The Northridge PTO is comprised of teachers, parents and other adults whose ultimate goal is to encourage learning, fun and healthy relationships among families of Northridge students. The PTO is managed by a group of volunteers who work with classroom representatives, members, and other parents and volunteers. Please consider becoming a volunteer. ALL ARE WELCOME!
Regular PTO meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:45 at Northridge. Please watch for bulletins coming home with your child for reminders!
The next PTO meeting will be held Tuesday, May 11th at 6:45. Space and childcare will be provided to play games and watch a movie during the meeting.

Will Your School Rule? Contest
Kirkwood Mall has a school competition going and Northridge can benefit!
About the competition:
The competition is simple and anyone can help out his or her favorite school! All you have to do is shop at Kirkwood Mall between October 1st, 2009 and March 31st, 2010 and take your receipts to the Customer Service Center located on the north end of the mall (outside of I. Keating Furniture). A Customer Service Representative will record how much you've spent, stamp your receipts and return them to you. Just remember to turn your receipts in within 60 days of your purchase and they must be from stores within Kirkwood Mall.
Schools get one (1) point for every dollar spent.
First Place: $2500.00
Second Place: $1500.00
Third Place: $1000.00
Official Rules:
Customers can only use Kirkwood Mall store or restaurant receipts towards the promotion.
Receipts must be recorded within 60 days of purchase.
Receipts must be dated from October 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010.
Receipt total, including tax, is eligible for credit.
Store gift certificate and gift card purchases are not eligible for credit.
Soliciting/collecting of receipts on mall property is prohibited.
Participating schools earn one (1) point for every dollar of valid store receipts unless otherwise specified by Kirkwood Mall. Anyone who intentionally abuses the program will have their school terminated from the program and the school will not be eligible to receive a cash prize.
Weekly school rankings will be posted in an area on the Scheels wing. Check weekly to see how your school is doing! Good luck to all schools!

Northridge Night with the Wizards
The Dakota Wizards and new head coach Rory White would like to invite you to the Bismarck Civic Center on Friday, January 22nd at 7:00pm where they will take the floor against the Los Angeles D-Fenders. Discounted tickets will be made available for all Northridge Elementary students, parents, teachers, and staff. $1 of every adult ticket purchased using this flyer will be donated back to the Northridge Elementary School PTO. Reserved tickets will be available for $12, General Admission tickets $9, and Student tickets $5. To get your discount, fill out the form and return it to the Wizards offices in the Civic Center or call Ryan Carlson at (701) 258-BALL.
Hurry, the deadline for this offer is Tuesday, January 19th.
